Ulverston Town Council Projects

Ulverston Town Council involves itself in a number of projects for the benefit of the town. It responds to funding opportunities which could enable projects to happen.

Projects completed in the last couple of years include the Outdoor Community Gym at Ford Park, installing 22 cycle racks throughout the town, community groups, schools and nurseries planting 21 trees on Little Hoad as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy project and installing new signs on Ulverston’s historic Rope Walk to replace the old signs which were around 25 years old. Projects we are currently working on include installing a pump track and outdoor fitness trail, as well as some smaller ones.

The Ulverston Community Partnership is funded by Ulverston Town Council, the committee is responsible for funding town leaflet distributions, town maps, various marketing projects and the Welcome to Ulverston signs.

We are always welcome to project suggestions, if you would like the council to consider your project idea, please email admin@ulverstoncouncil.org.uk
