Ulverston Town Council Projects

Ulverston Town Council involves itself in a number of projects for the benefit of the town. It responds to funding opportunities which could enable projects to happen.

The Ulverston Community Partnership is funded by Ulverston Town Council, and this group provides grants for Shop Front Improvement schemes, some marketing projects and more recently the Welcome to Ulverston signs.

The newly formed Ulverston Community Enterprises is looking at ways to effectively take on assets from SLDC and CCC and run them sustainably within the town. The council is also working with the scouts and local cycling groups to produce a cycling strategy for Ulverston.
