Becoming a Councillor

Anybody can become a Councillor by putting put themselves forward for election, as long as they have an Ulverston postal address. www.beacouncillor.org.uk

The term of a Councillor is 4 year and the current term will end in 2028. If a Councillor wishes to leave before the end of their term, the vacancy will be advertised on this page and the Council noticeboard, outside the Town Council office.
