Dragley Beck footbridge will be closed for some time. The bridge has been declared unsafe by a structural engineer who advised there is severe damage to the bridge arch.

There is also no access to the Beck down the sides of the bridge at this time.

It has been reported some people have tried to remove barriers and cross the bridge, please be aware this is highly dangerous and we encourage anyone who sees this happening to please report it on 101.
