The Mayor of Ulverston, Councillor Michelle Scrogham was very busy last week presenting commemorative Coronation coins to Ulverston primary school children. As a council we wanted to give something special to local school children that they could keep to remember this important occasion.
The Mayor was incredibly impressed by how much the children knew about our new King, some schools performed songs, some read poems and all children were impeccably behaved, they were a credit to their schools!

It’s great news that they will be able to restore and protect this fantastic building for many years to come. We wish them all the best!
